1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Future Flight (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, business account holders, and any other person who accesses or uses the Platform in any way.
2. Who We Are
Future Flight is a free, independent information platform for people pursuing aviation careers. We provide directories of schools, scholarships, events, clubs, training resources, and mentors, as well as career roadmaps, a community forum, and related tools.
We are not affiliated with any flight school, university, aviation organization, employer, or government agency listed on the Platform unless explicitly stated.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in any conduct we determine to be harmful to the Platform or its users.
Personal accounts are free and remain free. We will not retroactively charge for features that are currently free.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Spam, solicit, or send unsolicited commercial messages
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
- Impersonate another person, organization, or Future Flight itself
- Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
5. User Content
When you post content on the Platform — including forum posts, replies, profile information, or any submission — you grant Future Flight a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content in connection with operating the Platform.
You retain ownership of content you create. You are solely responsible for ensuring that content you post does not violate the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
We do not review all user-generated content before it is posted. If you believe content violates these Terms or your rights, contact us at the address below.
6. Listings & Submitted Information
Directory listings on Future Flight (schools, scholarships, events, clubs, training resources, products) are curated and reviewed by our team before going live. We make reasonable efforts to verify accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free.
Always verify information directly with the source. Contact schools, scholarship providers, and event organizers directly to confirm deadlines, costs, program details, and availability before making any decisions.
By submitting a listing, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Submitting false or misleading listing information may result in removal of the listing and termination of your account.
7. Business Accounts
Business accounts are available to schools, universities, aviation organizations, scholarship providers, and other entities. Business accounts require admin approval and are subject to additional review.
Business account holders may submit and manage their own listings, subject to admin review before changes go live. Business accounts must not submit false or misleading information about their organization, programs, or offerings.
Future Flight reserves the right to revoke business account access at any time for violations of these Terms or conduct we determine to be harmful to users.
8. Intellectual Property
All original content on the Platform — including the Future Flight name, logo, design system, career roadmaps, and written content produced by our team — is owned by Future Flight and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.
Third-party names, logos, and trademarks referenced on the Platform (such as school names, organization names, or product brands) belong to their respective owners. Their presence on Future Flight does not imply endorsement of Future Flight by those parties.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Future Flight does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on the Platform. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information found here.
We are not a flight school, scholarship provider, employer, or aviation authority. We do not provide flight training, career counseling, or financial advice. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Aviation training and certification requirements are subject to change by the FAA and other regulatory bodies. Always consult official FAA publications and qualified professionals for regulatory guidance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Future Flight and its owners, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for free accounts, is $0).
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property provisions) will survive.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email or by a prominent notice on the Platform.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
